On March 17, 2021, the International Women’s Union signed a cooperation agreement with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia. The signing took place within the framework of the XXVII Moscow International Tourism Exhibition MITT “Travel and Tourism”.

The purpose of signing the agreement is to unite women representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, women of creative areas of Russia and Abkhazia, exchange experience, improve professional, social and cultural development, cooperation in the field of medical tourism, tourism, and create other business ties between interested organizations and enterprises of both sides.

The agreement was signed by Alfiya Amirova, President of the International Women’s Union, head of the international project “By Hands of a Woman”, and Tamila Mertskhulava, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia.

The meeting also discussed and outlined plans for further cooperation. The signing ceremony was attended by Anna Vasilets, Vice President of the International Women’s Union, President of the Atlas of Health Group of Companies for Medical Tourism. Anna Vasilets stressed the importance of cooperation on tourism and medical tourism between our countries. Health and quality of life, today, is one of the most relevant topics and the basis of women’s well-being.

We will be glad to see the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia at the VDNH event on October 15-17, 2021, where it will be possible to adequately represent women entrepreneurs, creative women and women interested in the development of medical tourism in Abkhazia at the venues:

  • Business platform-forum “Woman of the third Millennium”
  • Festival of NHP and crafts ” By Hands of a woman”
  • Exhibitions “Medical tourism”.
    Cooperation between our organizations will contribute to the growth of interaction and the strengthening of multi-level ties!
