On November 3-5, 2020, the photo exhibition “the World through the eyes of Russian diplomats ‘wives” will be presented on the territory of VDNH (pavilion 55) as part of the 3rd International festival of Handicrafts and crafts “By hands of a woman”.

At the exhibition, specially prepared easels display images taken in 43 countries from all corners of the globe, where the wives of Russian diplomats have visited or are currently on duty as their spouses. The organizers of the exhibition-the Community of wives of Russian diplomats-have done a tremendous job. The works reflect the diversity of the natural world, the way of life of peoples of different countries, their cultural and historical heritage. From the bright Australian beaches, the viewer is transported to the quiet Tokyo garden, and from the Turkmen Bazaar to the quaint Bolivian mountains.
Diplomats and their families have a deep knowledge of the countries where they work, and this allows them to notice details that escape the tourist’s eye, and not stop at the “postcard” views. “The purpose of the exhibition is to demonstrate the Grand scale of movement around the world for our husbands, to show the incredible beauty and identity of different countries “– says the author of the photo project” the World through the eyes of the wives of Russian diplomats ” Hristina Nestoyanova.
The exhibition was successfully held in the Russian foreign Ministry, MGIMO-University of the Russian foreign Ministry, the Diplomatic Academy, the Federation Council, and the RUDN and received positive responses.
