The international Women’s Union announces the international photo contest “Mother and children in national costumes”, which will start in 2021.
The international photo contest “Mother and children in national costumes” is aimed at demonstrating the national color of the peoples of the world by expressing the diversity of the culture of their nation through the national costume, with the help of talented works of photographers.
The international photo contest “Mother and children in national costumes” is implemented in order to remember and tell about the history, traditions and culture of different nationalities of Russia, CIS countries and foreign countries through the national costume of mother and children.
The photo contest “Mother and children in national costumes” was successfully implemented as an all-Russian contest. Now we are expanding the format and making it International with participants from Russia, CIS countries and other countries.
Mothers and children are invited to participate in the project, and dads, grandparents, and so on can also take part in a photo shoot. Participants of the photo contest independently choose national costumes for photography.
Based on the results of the correspondence selection, finalists will be selected, whose photo works will be presented at a photo exhibition in Moscow on October 15-17, 2021 as part of the international festival of Handicrafts and crafts “By hands of woman”, where the winners will be selected, who will be awarded winners ‘ cups and diplomas.
The professional jury will be made up of cultural and artistic figures, specialists in decorative and applied arts, artists, photographers, designers, and fashion designers.
